The Rivalry Reunion Board members want to thank everyone for their
overwhelming support the past four years. Our platinum sponsor, the
Greensboro Grasshoppers, and the Neese's Sausage Family, continue to
be a testament of loyalty to our community and the student athletes at
Grimsley and Page High Schools.
The relationship between these two schools is strong, though competitive,
and provides an opportunity to rekindle strong bonds with former
classmates while leaving an indelible mark for future student athletes.
The Page/Grimsley Golf Tournament was created to benefit these two
wonderful High Schools and their pursuit to provide better opportunities for
students. Donations from the past four years have supported Page's
Athletic Facility Master Plan, specifically a brand new concession stand,
and provided Grimsley upgrades to practice/game fields, field maintenance
equipment, and a new PA system at Jamieson Stadium.
The Neese's Sausage family has sponsored $13,000 worth of scholarships
to sixteen worthy student athletes the past four years. These students
have exhibited principled leadership qualities and maintained a solid
academic record through their high school years.
To all of our corporate sponsors, hole sponsors and players, thank you for
participating this year. Your committment to Page and Grimsley's athletics
allows our student athletes the best opportunitiy for success for years to
come.
Page is poised to retain the Rivalry Reunion Cup after an impressive
performance led by medalist Donald Moore.
